Joy was just that -- a joy to ride and a sweetheart to breed. She gave us gorgeous offspring with beauty and lots of motion. She was accidentally kicked in pasture -- the kick was meant as a traditional warning kick during feeding and Joy just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Very sad. My only regret is that I wish I had kept one of her offspring. She produced such wonderful athletic ability and kind and gentle natures -- much like her sire.
