Durvish
raised
our
kids
--
taking
care
of
them
on
the
trail,
making
them
look
fantastic
in
the
little
horse
shows,
and
letting
their
horse
ignorant
friends
experience
the
thrill
of
riding
a
gentle
friend.
It
was
hard
to
say
good-bye
after
all
those
years.
Daughter “J” riding him just prior to his passing.
You gave to our family,
Protected our young,
You were a true hero,
Whose deeds were unsung.
For the price of a carrot,
You gave us your all,
Your kindness, devotion
To kids big and small.
You will stay in our hearts.
We will never forget.
For the lessons you've taught us
We'll be in your debt.
We will always remember
The fun we did share;
Our children were safe
Under your watch and care.
Ol' friend we will miss you
And say our good-bye
Now angels will ride you
In pastures on high.
Goodnight Sweet Durvish
