Hal Bentfr Leathr was an amazing colt when he left for South Carolina with his new owner Claude Brewer, and grew up to be an amazing stallion. Unfortunately a freak accident in pasture resulted in his death, but not before he produced some great athletes. Claude was riding endurance during weekends and in the summer when he was off from his teaching job; however, now that he is retired, the other endurance riders better watch out.
